Having a baby is an exciting and daunting time for any new parents. Understanding the needs of your tiny new arrival can be a minefield, however we all know that good nutrition is a vital part of their health and happiness.
Breast milk is the best nutrition for babies and exclusive breastfeeding is recommended till the first 6 months, so it’s important you’re clued-up on the breastfeeding basics.
Philips AVENT is committed to increasing breastfeeding rates by promoting and supporting optimal breastfeeding practices with the ultimate goal of improving infant & mother’s health.
This is why Philips AVENT continues to invest heavily in creating dialog between gynaecologists, midwives, breastfeeding advisors, nursing professionals, neonatologists and paediatricians.
Having passed the first 6 months quite often mothers are confused by the overwhelming amount of information on getting solid foods into a baby's diet. Furthermore, parents get frustrated when babies just spit out the food prepared for them. Perhaps as parents we need to understand how babies grow and why they behave the way they do?
To make the best choice for the baby, adequate information is needed. Therefore, Philips AVENT is conducting a forum:
